Los Mediáticos is a performance piece based on selecting, fragmenting, remixing and looping musical references to produce sound collages from specific contexts.


The exercise is simple: I invite musicians to perform and ask them for their top songs from a specific theme. Having the playlist ready I modify the sources using DJ tactics while inviting them to improvise. All performances are recorded and edited.
